I’m really impressed with the website. For the record , the Wichita Falls Times and Record News is the paper that did the ” storm cellar ” story . Carla Fullerton was a correspondent for them but I’m not sure she wrote the copy . You might find it in their archives.

I was a folksinger all my life until arthritis took my fingers.. even went to the Kerrville Folk Festival many times and got to play a couple of bad songs I had written for the New Folk competition where Peter Yarrow of Peter , Paul, and Mary was one of my judges…
Any way , I talked to Gene today and he told me about your
website. I plan to send it to some picker’s I know.. I have not heard your songs yet. Just clicked ont he Lyrics and saw a song I used to sing called Stawberry Roan… love that.
My favorite song that I sing to my grandson who is about to be one.. it StewBall… PP&M made it famous.. Bye for now.. and good luck.
